So kayden had a Echo today around 4pm, and then mommy got to hold him for the first time ever! It was great, and while i was holding him, the docs came and told us the results from the echo....which were also great! No hypertension was seen at all. So as soon as kayden starts pooping again, we will be able to start feeding him. Then possibly start to think about taking out his tubes! So we will all be home sooner than later. We cant wait. But kayden is doing great and we couldnt ask for any more! And oh yes i switched pages because carepages wouldnt let me add anymore pictures. Thanks for all the prayers, we love you all! - I was born on October 27th 2008, at 5:41pm in Cincinnati ohio at the Chidrens Hospital. I weighed 6lbs 2oz, and was 20inches long! I was diagnosed with a left sided diaphgramtic hernia in my mommys routine 20 week ultrasound. Everything except my liver was up, and the doctors told my mommy that i had a moderate case of CDH. When i was born I was very strong and didnt require ECMO, i was in the hospital for a total of 54 days, and got to go home with my mommy and daddy right before christmas! I went home with a NG tube but after two weeks of being at home i no longer needed that thing in my nose i ate great all by myself without any problems! I take Prevaced for my reflex which is not severe but causes me some caughing every once in a while and i am currently 6 months old and being weaned off off syldenefil which was once used to keep my hypertension controlled! oh and me mommy and daddy are expecting my new little sister Haylee who will be here by Sept 23rd! This is our Story!
